the secluded location is just super inconvenient, and the wifi is practically non-existent in the rooms. I thought my special status would get me an upgrade or at least a welcome gift, but nope, just standard treatment here. almost considered writing a nice review, but I just couldn’t. it was just that disappointing.

The lodge is located in a beautiful countryside environment, with a
great balance of comfort and natural beauty. The staff were friendly and attentive, which enhanced my stay. The food was delicious but pricey at times. However, the winding road to access the lodge could be a bit bumpy and time-consuming.

Had a great time with friends at this charming two-bedroom cottage! We loved exploring the serene waters on a kayak and immersing ourselves in the local culture with a village tour. The staff were incredibly welcoming and made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommend checking out the nearby fishing village for a real glimpse into local life and the amazing farm with tons of banana plants!
On a downside, we had some trouble with the shower temperature, which was hard to regulate throughout our stay.

Staying here with my kids was a delight! The staff treated us like family, especially Bernadette, who made sure my children had special vegan options. Exploring the nearby fishing village was a highlight, giving us a glimpse into the local culture.
In my wife’s opinion, more family-oriented activities would be great.

I had the most enjoyable stay at Kumbali Country Lodge. The gardens are meticulously maintained, creating a serene atmosphere. I loved the warm welcome I received from Lizzy and the team. They surprised me with a birthday cake and even sang for me, which made my day extra special. The Deluxe Room was sparkling clean and the view over the lush landscaping was breathtaking. I appreciated the swimming pool. it was warm and relaxing after a long day. However, the Wi-Fi was frustratingly slow, making it challenging to work during my stay. I also wish the pool were more integrated into the property, as it felt a bit isolated. While the food was tasty, I found the main courses on the pricey side. Overall, a lovely place, just a few areas that could use some tweaks.

I had a fantastic time during my birthday getaway, where I stayed in a Deluxe Room. The manicured gardens provided a refreshing atmosphere, and I loved how warm the staff were, especially Lizzy, who made my birthday celebration truly special with a song and a cake. The cooking was consistently delicious, and while the outdoor pool could use a bit more integration with the area, it remained inviting and clean. I highly recommend trying the local dishes, as they were flavorful and satisfying.
